What is UL 969 Label?
Uls 969 labels are labels that have been pre-tested and approved for use on a variety of UL Listed and Recognized products to ensure critical safety information remains attached and legible.
Before we go any further, it’s critical to understand why the UL 969 labeling and marking standard is so important. UL and the other Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs) are fundamentally concerned with safety. Their logo on a finished product or component is supposed to indicate that the product has been subjected to and passed rigorous safety testing. As a result, viewing UL 969 labels from that safety directive brings the picture into focus.
